2-2. Self Diagnostic Mode

2-2-5. Test Procedure

The detailed operation of each test and its judgment
method are described below.
Each test can be separately and independently executed
without following the specified order.
Usually, follow the order of the test item number to
execute a one-time test.
1. ROM version display
Set the test item number to "01" using the [+]/[_] button,
and then press the "STORE" button to activate a test.
The ROM version is displayed alternating the integral part
and decimal point part for 500 msec. each on the 7SEG
LEDs.
When indicating the integral part, a numeric character is
displayed on the left 7SEG LED. An under-bar on the
right 7SEG LED indicates that it is the integral part
display.
When indicating the decimal point part, two numeric
characters are displayed.

If the version is not displayed properly, see Section 2-3-3,
"Troubleshooting for ROM Version Display Error" to
clarify the cause.

(Example) : Version 1.02
To quite the test, press the "CANCEL" button. The 7SEG
LEDs display returns to the test item number.
2-4 (E)
2. ROM test
Set the test item number to "02" using the [+]/[_] button,
and then press the "STORE" button to activate a test.
Calculates the checksum in an area of a ROM, and then
compares it with the checksum written in the ROM.
If the comparison result coincides, "PA" is displayed on
the 7SEG LED. If it does not coincide, "Er" indicating an
error is displayed.

3. RAM test

Set the test item number to "03" using the [+]/[_] button,
and then press the "STORE" button to activate a test.
(Decimal point part)
Writes "ffh" in the every area of the RAM to check that the
written data can be read properly. Next, writes the data of
"aah", "55h", and then "00h" to check the reading.
If the test result is properly, "PA" is displayed on the
7SEG LED. If it is not properly, "Er" indicating an error
is displayed on the 7SEG LED.
