1-5. Replacing the Switching Regulator

. The switching regulator is a critical part to safety.
Replacing parts other than the specified switching
regulator may result in a fire or electrical shock.
. The switching regulator is used in the unit.
Before replacement, turn off the power switch, discon-
nect the plug from the outlet, and wait for one minute at
least.
If touching the switching regulator soon after turning off
the power switch, an electric shock may be caused.
Replacement Part

1. Remove the CP-364 board. (Refer to Section 1-3-2.)
2. Remove the seven screws (PSW4 x 8) from the
switching regulator to disconnect the harnesses
(white : one, brown : one, green + yellow : one,
black : two, red : two).
3. Remove the two screws (PSW3 x 6) to remove the
switching regulator from the CP-364 board.

4. Attach a new switching regulator in reverse order of
steps 2 and 3.
5. After replacing the switching regulator, execute the
self diagnostic test. (Refer to Section 2-2, "Self
Diagnostic Mode".)

1-6. Replacing the NV-RAMs

The two NV-RAMs which have the ID to make CPU
identify the each NV-RAM and customized data (adjust-
ment state of each output signal and setting value) are used
in the CP-364 board. When one of the NV-RAMs is
replaced, these data will be lost.

Adjustment/Re-setting after Replacing the NV-
RAM
When replacing one of NV-RAMs, adjust and re-set the
data following steps below.

Even if either of the NV-RAMs is replaced, be sure to
follow the steps below.
1. Turn off the power switch.
2. Remove the top panel. (Refer to Section 1-2-1.)
3. Set switches S100-7 and S100-8 (J-3) on the CP-364
board to ON.
4. Set the power switch to ON.
After all of the LEDs on the front panel are lit on and
off, confirm that the 7-segment LED indicates "99",
"88", "77", "66", "55", "44", "33", "22", "11" and
"00" with interval of 0.5 seconds in this order, and
finally indicates "01".
5. Turn off the power switch.
6. While pressing the "CANCEL" button on the front
panel, set the power switch to ON. Confirm that the 7-
segment LED indicates "99", "88" to "11" and "00"
with interval of 0.5 seconds in this order. Then the
indication is repeated starting from "01", "02" to "FE",
"FF" several times and finally indicates "01" and
finally indicates "01".

Keep pressing the "CANCEL" button until all of the
above countdown indications are completed.
7. When the 7-segment LED display indicates "01", turn
off the power switch.
8. Set the switches of S100-7 and S100-8 (J-3) to OFF.
9. Re-set and customize the data as original.
For the details of the setting procedure, refer to the
sections of "Output Signal Adjustment" and "Saving
and Recalling Adjustments and Settings" in the
Operation Manual.
