getting Started

When using your Forerunner the first
time, complete the following tasks:
1. Charge the Forerunner
2. Configure the Forerunner
3. Locate satellites
4. Go for a run
5. Save your run

Charging the Forerunner

To prevent corrosion, thoroughly dry
the contacts and the surrounding area
before charging or connecting to a
computer.
The Forerunner will not charge when
the battery is outside the temperature
range of 41°F–104°F (5°C–40°C).
