11. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on
which the stand is placed is stable.
12. Never fi ll the water tank with hot water, scent, vinegar, starch,
descaler, fabric softener or any other chemical reagent.
13. Unplug the appliance from wall outlet when not in use, before
fi lling with water or cleaning it.
14. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than its
intended use.
15. This appliance can be used by children from 8 years old and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning how to use
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
16. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
17. The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the
water reservoir is fi lled with water.
18. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
19. Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
20. Do not use this appliance outdoors.
21. Do not touch the surfaces marked with symbol
just after ironing. It is hot!
22. This appliance is designed only for household use up to 2000m
above sea level.
