Place the terminal face down on a soft and clean surface to protect the display
from scratches.

Push down the locking tab and swing out the compartment cover.

Do not remove the battery while accessing MSAM, SD and SIM.

Ensure not to remove the battery. The battery should be removed only by the
authorized service person.

Once you are done with inserting the card and replacing the battery, lock the
rear cover back in place.
