such as photographs, to your email. For

email program.

Checking your email

To protect your computer from viruses,
check any email attachments using
anti-virus software which came with
your computer. For more information,
see "Using Windows XP Security
Center" on page
Help and Support
For general information about using
email, click Start, then click Help and
Support. Type the keyword email in the
Search box, then click the arrow.

To send email:
Connect to your Internet service provider.

Click Start, then click email. Your default email program opens.

Click New.

Type the email address of the recipient you want to send email to in the To

box.
Type the subject of your email in the Subject box.

Type the email message.

When finished, click Send. Your email is sent over the Internet to the email

address you specified.
To check your email:

Connect to your Internet service provider.

Click Start, then click E-mail. Your default email program opens.

Click Send/Receive or Send/Recv.

Double-click the message you want to read.
