    This document provides information for operating the Xerox Production Stacker (XPS). The XPS is an interface to the Xerox Nuvera system. It will enable inline finishing by receiving sheets from the host printer and sending these sheets into a stacker or other finishing device.

    When the Stacker Tray is ejecting and the Front Obstruction Bumper (shown below) comes into contact with an obstruction located in front of the ejector module, the ejection operation stops immediately. To restart, follow the instructions on the Xerox Nuvera Control Console.

    Once open, the Stacker Tray moves out in front of the stacker. The Stacker Tray raises or lowers to a height that can be preset at the Xerox Nuvera Control Console. The attention light remains on continuously to signify that a stack is ready for pickup.

    If there is only one stacker in a stacker group, printing pauses until the stack is ejected. Printing restarts when the stacker is clear. Refer to the Xerox Nuvera User Guide and Training Aid CD for Stacker Tray limits setup.
