Equipment clearance and floor loading

A minimum clearance of 48 inches in front of a configured HP MCS and 30 inches to the rear of a
configured rack is recommended. All buildings and raised computer room floors are engineered to
provide a specific floor loading.
Warning:
When configuring a solution, make sure that the floor loading
specifications are followed. Failure to do so may result in physical injury or
damage to the equipment and the facility.
Figure 7 illustrate the foot print of an HP MCS.

Front door clearance

HP MCS units can be set side-by-side (Figure 8). The HP MCS door clearance is illustrated in Figure 9.
