7.8 Universal Send Security Feature Set-C1
The Universal Send Security Feature Set-C1 enables the customer to encrypt PDF
files and set a password to send them safely to a file server or e-mail address. It
also enables the recipient of the PDF file to verify which device scanned it.
NOTE
To enable the functions of the Universal Send Security Feature Set-C1, it must
be activated by registering a license key after the optional Color Universal Send
Kit has been activated.
7.9 Universal Send Advanced Feature Set-C1
The Universal Send Advanced Feature Set-C1 enables the customer to make
Compact PDF, Compact XPS (XML Paper Specification), Trace & Smooth PDF,
Searchable PDF, and Searchable XPS files.
NOTE
To enable the functions of the Universal Send Advanced Feature Set-C1, it must
be activated by registering a license key after the optional Color Universal Send
Kit has been activated.
7.10 Digital User Signature Kit-B1
The Digital User Signature Kit-B1 enables the customer to add a digital user
signature obtained from a certificate authority to a PDF file. This enables the
recipient of a PDF file to verify which user signed it.
NOTE
A license key issued by a certificate authority must be registered to activate the
Digital User Signature Kit. Register and activate the license key only after the
optional Color Universal Send Kit has been activated.
7.11 Secure Watermark-A1
The Secure Watermark-A1 option enables the customer to embed hidden text in
the background of copies. The embedded text only appears when the machine
prints the copies.
7.12 HDD Data Encryption Kit-B7
The HDD Data Encryption Kit-B7 is a tool that enables the customer to encrypt all
of the data stored on the hard disk of the machine. This prevents encrypted hard
disk data that is extracted from the machine from being read.
