Sicherheits-Hinweis zur Kabelverlegung

Über das chassisseitige Ende des BAT2-Kabel muß ein 4cm lan-
ger Siliconschlauch gesteckt sein.
Nachdem das Kabel BAT2 auf der Chassisplatte angeschlossen
wurde, muß der Siliconschlauch über das Steckerunterteil des ST-
BAT2 geschoben werden, so daß er fast senkrecht nach oben steht
und das Kabel relativ straff vor dem Kern des Zeilentrafos verläuft.
Diese Maßnahme schützt durch Distanz das Kabel BAT2 vor ther-
mischer Belastung durch die darunterliegenden Bauteile und zum
anderen wird das Risiko von möglichen Brandschäden vermieden.
Die Kabel BAT2 und BAT4 sind beim Steckerunterteil ST-BAT4 auf
dem Chassis mit einem Kabelbinder zusammenzubinden.

Safety Note on the Layout of Cables
The end of the BAT2-cable which is to be connected to the chassis
must be provided with a piece of silicon sleeve of 4cm in length.
When connecting the BAT2 cable to the chassis board, the silicon
sleeve must be slipped on the connector base of ST-BAT2 so that it
is almost in vertical position and the cable is relatively tight and
routed along in front of the line output transformer.
The distance between the BAT2 cable and the components
underneath it ensures firstly that the cable is protected from the
thermal load of the components and secondly that the risk of possible
fire damage is avoided.
The BAT2 and BAT4 cables are to be tied together with a cable
fastener near the connector base ST-BAT4 on the chassis.
