Section 9: Applications and Development
This section outlines the various applications that
are available on your phone.
Applications
The Applications list provides quick access to all the
available applications on the phone.
Refer to the application table on page 27 for a
description of each Application, its function, and
how to navigate through that particular application.
If the application is already described in another
section of this user manual, then a cross reference
to that particular section is provided.
Accounts and sync
This application allows you to configure general
synchronization settings that determine whether the
background data is synchronized, and whether you
automatically synchronize data with the phone.
From the Home screen, tap

Calculator
Using this feature you can use the phone as a
calculator. The calculator provides the basic
arithmetic functions; addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division. You can also use this as
a scientific calculator.
From the Home screen, tap

Calendar
With the Calendar feature, you can consult the
calendar by day, week, or month, create events, and
set an alarm to act as a reminder. Google Calendar
is built into the phone and synchronizes both new
and existing entries between your phone and your
online Google account.
Important! You must have previously added an
account (Facebook, Microsoft Exchange
ActiveSync, or Google) prior to using the
Calendar.
