Display
In this menu, you can change various settings for the display
such as wallpapers, font style, brightness, screen orientation,
animation, screen timeout, and horizontal calibration.
From a Home screen, touch Applications
Settings
The following options display:
• Wallpapers: Sets the Home screen and Lock screen wallpaper.
– Home screen wallpaper: Choose wallpaper for the Home screen
from the Gallery, Live wallpapers, or the Wallpaper gallery.
– Lock screen wallpaper: Choose None (no wallpaper) or wallpaper
from the Gallery.
• Font style: Sets the fonts used on the LCD display. The default font,
is the only font that comes with your phone. Touch Get fonts online
to download additional fonts.
• Brightness: Configures the LCD brightness levels. Touch and drag
the slider to set the brightness and touch OK.
• Auto-rotate screen: Used to switch the display orientation
automatically when you rotate the phone.
• Animation: Sets whether some or all of the window elements
animate. Options are: No animation, Some animations, and All
animations.

• Screen timeout: Adjusts the delay time before the screen
automatically turns off. Options are: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1
minute, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, or 30 minutes.
• Horizontal calibration: Lets you to horizontally calibrate your
display using the accelerometer. Place your device on a level
surface and touch Calibrate.
Note: Display settings, such as Brightness and Screen timeout, can affect
battery power consumption.
Location and Security
The Location and Security settings allow you to set up how the
phone determines your location and the security settings for your
phone.
Use Wireless Networks
Before you use some applications, such as Google Maps, and
find your location or search for places of interest, you must
enable the Use wireless networks option or enable the GPS
satellites.
