• Text message limit: Set a limit on how many text messages can
be in one conversation.
• Multimedia message limit: Set a limit on how many multimedia
messages can be in one conversation.
• Manage SIM card messages: Manage the messages that you
have stored on your SIM card. Touch this field and then press the
Menu Key
to Delete messages or Copy all messages to
phone memory.
• Message center: The number of your message center where your
messages reside while the system is attempting to deliver them.
• Input mode: The input mode for your text messages. Choose
between GSM Alphabet, Unicode, or Automatic.
• Auto-retrieve: Enable the message system to retrieve messages
automatically.
• Roaming auto-retrieve: Enable the message system to retrieve
messages automatically while you are roaming.
• Creation mode: Select the creation mode. Options are:
– Restricted: Only create and submit messages with content belonging
to the Core MM Content Domain.
– Warning: The phone warns you with a pop-up message that you are
creating a multimedia message that does not fit the Core MM Content
Domain.
– Free: You may add any content to the message.
• CB activation: Enable to receive Cell Broadcast (CB) messages.
• Channel configuration: Set up the channel on which you receive
CB messages.
• Language: Select the languages in which you want to receive CB
messages.
• Notifications: Enable to see message notifications on your status
bar.
• Select ringtone: Set the ringtone for your message notifications.
Gmail
Gmail is Google's web-based email. When you first setup the
phone, Gmail is configured. Depending on the synchronization
settings, Gmail is automatically synchronized with your Gmail
account.
Signing into Your Gmail
From a Home screen, touch Applications

At the Add a Google Account screen, touch Next to begin,

• Create: Follow the prompts to create a new account.
• Sign in: Enter your Google Username and Password, then touch
Sign In.
