Shooting in Manual Mode

In this mode, you can change various settings and shoot as you wish.
Slide the mode switch to

(Shooting) and select
FUNC. menu.
• See Selecting a Shooting Mode (p. 53).
• You can shoot right after selecting an
option. The menu displays again after the
shot, allowing you to change the settings
easily.
Press the SET/FUNC. button.

The display will return to the Shooting
screen.

If the subject is difficult to focus on when
the shutter button is pressed halfway, the
beep will sound one time. The AF frame will
also appear yellow. (If the AiAF option is set
to [On] (p. 73), the AF frame will not
appear.)
