Shooting in Manual Focus Mode

Mode Dial
The focus can be manually set.

Press and hold the MF button,
then turn the zoom ring to focus
on the subject.
The

viewfinder).
The AF frame area is magnified when
[MF-Point Zoom] is set to [On] in the [
(Rec.)] menu.*

The MF indicator shows approximate figures. Use them as a
shooting guideline only.
Adjust the focus by turning the zoom ring until the image appears
focused on the LCD monitor (or in the viewfinder).
If you let go of the MF button without operating the zoom ring,
Manual Focus mode will be canceled.
