Possible causes
Air demand higher than air supply
Air filter clogged
Inlet valve does not open completely
Pressure transducer fault
Pressure transducer fault
Unloading components (e.g. blow-
down valve, inlet regulator valve) are
not working properly
Solenoid valve unload failure
Control pipeline is leaking air
Purge oil return line filter or nozzle
blocked
Fluid/air separator element damaged
or washer displaced
System piping is leaking fluid
Fluid level too high
Excessive fluid foam
Isolator damaged
Fan fault

Remedy
• Reduce air demand
• Check piping for air leaks
Replace air filter element
Check movement of inlet valve. Check
settings of the pressure relief valve and
pressure regulator.
Check transducer's contacts. Replace
transducer if contacts are normal.
Check transducer's contacts. Replace
transducer if contacts are normal.
Check if unloading components are
working normally
Check solenoid valve
Check if control pipeline is leaking air
Clean purge oil return line filter and noz-
zle
Check fluid/air separator element and
washer. Replace if necessary.
Check if system piping is leaking fluid
Discharge some fluid
Change fluid
Replace isolator
Check centrifugal fan
