Using the Answering Machine

The answering machine stores up to 30 minutes of
messages and/or memos. You can listen to your
messages from the base station, from the handset,
or remotely. You can also set your phone to
automatically forward answering machine messages
to another phone number.

Setting Up the Answering Machine

You can set up the answering machine from a
handset or the base station.
Mail box 1 holds the messages for Line 1 and Mailbox 2 holds the
messages for Line 2. For each line there are individual settings for
On/Off, Announcement/Outgoing Messages, Number of rings before
answering, Security code, Voice prompt language, and Message
Forwarding.
