Base construction and installation of the indoor · outdoor unit

f Remove the wooden palette used for product transport.

f Fix the outdoor unit firmly on the base ground with anchor bolts.

f The manufacturer is not responsible for the damage occurred by not keeping standard of the installation.

• To protect the outdoor unit from outdoor conditions (such as rain etc), make sure to construct the base ground that is
higher than 200mm and construct the drain hole to connect the pipe to the drainage.
• Considering the vibration and weight of the outdoor unit, strength of the base ground must be strong and it has to be
flat so that rainwater does not settle or leak.
• Base ground should be 1.5 times larger than bottom of the outdoor unit.
• Firmly fix the outdoor unit so that it can withstand the wind speed at over 30m/s. In case that the outdoor unit cannot
be fixed on the ground, fix the side of the outdoor unit or use extra structure to fix it.
• You must pay extra attention on waterproofing and constructing drainage on the ground where outdoor unit will be
installed since condensed water will be generated during heating operation. (Condensed water may freeze in winter
time and form icy ground.)
• It is necessary to install wire mesh or steel bar during concrete construction for the base ground to prevent damages or
cracks.
• When the base ground construction is completed, install anti-vibration pad or frame between the base ground and the
bottom of the outdoor unit to prevent the vibration noise from transferring through the base ground.
