1. Compression damping force adjusting knob
Compression damping setting:
Minimum (soft):
12 click(s) in direction (b)*
Standard:
7 click(s) in direction (b)*
Maximum (hard):
2 click(s) in direction (b)*
* With the adjusting knob fully turned in
direction (a)
Rebound damping force
The rebound damping force of each shock
absorber can be adjusted by turning its re-
bound damping force adjusting knob.
To increase the rebound damping force, turn
the adjusting knob in direction (a). To de-
crease the rebound damping force, turn the
adjusting knob in direction (b).

TIP
The damping forces will not decrease past the
minimum levels even if the adjusting knobs
are turned out more than the minimum set-
tings.

Adjusting the spring preload of the
center shock absorber and the rear
torsion springs
The spring preload can be adjusted by turning
the adjusting ring [PZ50GT / PZ50MT (CAN) /
PZ50VT (CAN)] or adjusting nut [PZ50RT /
PZ50MT
(FIN)(SWE)(RUS) /
(FIN)(SWE) / PZ50MP] on the center shock
absorber and the adjusters on the rear torsion
springs. Adjust the spring preload as follows.
Center shock absorber [PZ50GT / PZ50MT
(CAN) / PZ50VT (CAN)]
To increase the spring preload and thereby
harden the suspension, turn the adjusting ring
in direction (a). To decrease the spring pre-
load and thereby soften the suspension, turn
the adjusting ring in direction (b).
