Troubleshooting

Electrical

Symptom: Sprayer does not run, stops
running, or will not shut off.
1. Perform Pressure Relief Procedure,
page 12.
Problem
Sprayer does not run at all.
Sprayer will not shut off after reaching
or exceeding maximum pressure.

What to Check
Check battery charge.
Check pressure control connections.
Check pressure control.
Check motor leads.
Check pressure control.
Motor leads are securely fastened
and properly mated
Install fully charged battery, see Battery
Installation and Removal, page 17.
Turn the ON/OFF switch OFF, wait 30
seconds and then turn power back ON
again (this ensures sprayer is in normal
run mode).
Turn pressure control knob clockwise
1/2 turn.
How to check
Press charge level indicator on
battery. Charge battery or install a
new battery, if needed.
Make certain connector is clean and
firmly connected.
Connect known good pressure
control. If the motor runs, replace
pressure control.
Make certain terminals are clean and
firmly connected.
Disconnect pressure control, if
sprayer still runs, replace control
board. If the sprayer stops, replace
pressure control.
Replace loose terminals; crimp to
leads. Be sure terminal are firmly
connected.
Clean circuit board terminals.
Securely reconnect leads.
