Using the Menu
This function is useful to observe the movement of clouds or the change of
daylight. Your camcorder will shoot a still image at a selected interval and record
it on a "Memory Stick."

Select a desired interval time (1, 5, or 10 minutes), then touch

To cancel interval photo recording, select [OFF] in step 3.
When you remove a cassette or "Memory Stick" from your camcorder, and select
the CAMERA-TAPE mode, you can view the demonstration in about 10 minutes.

• You can view the demonstration only when the NIGHTSHOT/NIGHTFRAMING switch
is set to z (green).
Tips

• The demonstration will be suspended in situations such as those described below.
– When you touch the screen during the demonstration. (The demonstration starts again in
about 10 minutes.)
– When a cassette or "Memory Stick" is inserted.
– When a mode other than CAMERA-TAPE is selected.
• If [A.SHUT OFF] is set to [5 min] when the camcorder is used on the battery pack, the
power will be turned off after approximately 5 minutes (p. 81).
