    DCR-PC330/PC330E SECTION 1 COVER COVER SERVICE NOTE 1-1. SERVICE NOTE POWER SUPPLY DURING REPAIRS In this unit, about 10 seconds after power is supplied to the battery terminal using the regulated power supply (8.4V), the power is shut off so that the unit cannot operate.

    DCR-PC330/PC330E DISCHARGING OF THE FLASHLIGHT POWER SUPPLY CAPACITOR The power supply capacitor (C4208) of the FP-707 flexible is charged up to the maximum 300V potential. There is a danger of electric shock by this high voltage when the capacitor is handled by hand. The electric shock is caused by the charged voltage which is kept without discharging when the main power of the unit is simply turned off.

    DCR-PC330/PC330E NOTES ON HANDLING THE LASER DIODE [LASER UNIT (D7609 of FP-706 flexible)] The laser diode may suffer electrostatic breakdown because of the potential difference generated by the charged electrostatic load, etc. on clothing and the human body. During repair, pay attention to electrostatic breakdown and also use the procedure in the printed matter which is included in the repair parts.
