SafeIce Bulb Installation & Replacement Instructions
Follow these instructions when installing the bulb after cleaning or replacing the bulb with a new bulb.
When inserting a new bulb, only use a new Ice-O-Matic SafeIce bulb (using an incorrect bulb will void the
warranty).
1. Install the bulb by inserting the "flat-end" into the appropriate end cap.
2. Reconnect the lampholder to the "pin-end" of the bulb.
3. Replace any access panels removed from the ice machine.
4. Reconnect the power supply to the ice machine.
5. Dispose of any old bulbs in accordance with all regulations pertaining to hazardous waste dis-
posal (these bulbs contain small traces of mercury). Visit lamprecycle.org for information.
