Testing Your Patch Cords

You should test your patch cords before each job. Use
another set of known-good patch cords to set a
reference and run an Autotest on each patch cord. Use
Smart Remote mode to test two patch cords at a time, or
Loopback mode to test one patch cord. See pages 17 and
22 for details on running these tests. For SC/SC patch
cords, you can also use the method described in
TIA/EIA TSB140.
