Replacing articulated steering bearing

• Remove the engine according to the earlier
description (see "Removing engine").
• Block up the ride-on mower in front of the
articulated steering.

• Release the tensioning wheel spring (1).
• Release the clutch, gear and brake wire (2, 3
and 4) and remove the wires' holder plates (5
and 6).

• Loosen the steering wires (1) and remove the
steering rim.
• Remove the pulley (2). Move the lower part
forwards, the upper part backwards and detach
the pulley.

Detach the articulation spring. This spring is
strongly tensioned and should be secured with tool
no. 506 89 93-01 before the nut is removed.

WARNING!
The articulation spring is strongly
tensioned and can cause injury if it
flies off. Wear safety glasses and
gloves when removing/attaching
the spring.
