•SSEL output H = Reset of TEPP hold circuit is cancelled.
•Setting of Tracking Gain 7 STEP (Judgement STEP)
•Stand by till the disc makes one rotation.
•Detect if thre is a RF signal or not.
•Calculate TEPP value in every 13.3ms.

•SSEL output L = TEPP hold circuit is reset.
•Average TEPP value obtained in the Judgement STEP.

•Recognize disc as CD-R temporarily.
By average TEPP value, an Optimum STEP for CD
and CD-R will be set temporarily and the mode is
changed to Optimum STEP.
