Servicing the Engine Oil and
Filter
Service Interval: After the first 50 hours
Every 150 hours
1. Remove the drain plug (Figure 52) and let the oil flow
into a drain pan. When the oil stops, install the drain
plug.

2. Remove the oil filter (Figure 53). Apply a light coat of
clean oil to the new filter seal before screwing it on.
Do not overtighten.

3. Add oil to the crankcase; refer to Checking the Engine
Oil in Operation.

Adjusting the Throttle

Adjust the throttle cable (Figure 54) so that the governor
lever on the engine contacts the high speed set bolt at the
same point that the throttle cable contacts the end of the slot
in the control arm.
