Make sure you're using ink jet-printable CDs or DVDs.
■
Handle the disc carefully and allow the ink to dry for at least 24 hours before playing the
disc or inserting it in a drive.
Printed CDs or DVDs are smeared or dirty.
Clean the roller; see page 42.
The CD or DVD won't feed into the printer.
Make sure you hold the CD/DVD tray level as you load it into the tray guide, not tilting it up
or down. Don't push in the tray too far, but line up the arrows exactly as described on page 43.

Miscellaneous Printout Problems

The image is reversed.
Turn off the
Flip Horizontal
window or the mirror setting in your program. (If you're printing on Epson Iron-On Transfer
Paper, the image should be reversed.)
The printer prints blank pages.

Make sure your printer is selected, or is the active printer in the Print Center, Printer
Setup Utility, or Macintosh Chooser.
■
The print head nozzles may need cleaning; see page 50 for instructions.
The margins are incorrect.
■
Make sure the paper settings are correct for your paper size.
■
Make sure the paper is positioned correctly in the feeder, all the way to the right. Slide the
left edge guide against the paper.

See your software documentation for instructions on choosing the correct margins for
your paper size. The margins must be within the printable area of the page. See "Printer
Specifications" in your on-screen Reference Guide.

If you are printing without a computer, make sure the Crop and Fit to Frame settings are
set to ; see page 25 for instructions.
