The Faults Tab

A fault is an unplanned event that prevents the machine from
performing as expected. For example, a tray will be out of paper, the
end of life of a Replaceable Unit will be reached, a jam will occur,
or a hardware problem will occur.
The Faults Tab presents three options to diagnose system problems:
All Faults, Active Messages and Error Log.
NOTE
Use this information when reporting a problem to the Welcome
Center.

faults that are currently detected by the machine.
l
Active Messages contains a numeric list of codes, each
corresponding to a message that is displayed on the Touch
Screen.
l
The Error Log list provides a dated and time stamped list
of the last 20 error codes that have been reported on the
machine. The list is presented in descending sequence, from
newest error code to oldest.
