Paper jam
The paper is jammed inside the printer. Follow the steps on
page 3-13.
No ink cartridge
No ink cartridge is installed. Install an ink cartridge.
Carriage error
A carriage error occurred. Turn off the printer. After a few
seconds, turn it back on again.
Fatal ink system error
Contact your dealer.

Power supply

The printer does not work and control panel lights are off.
Check that the power cord is properly plugged into the
electrical outlet.
Check that the side of the power switch with the vertical bar ( I )
is pressed down to turn on the printer.
If the electrical outlet is controlled by an outside switch or
automatic timer, use a different outlet.
Plug another electrical device into the outlet to determine
whether it is working.
