If there is resistance
when you re-fit the
canister, remove and
carefully reseat the filter
assembly, ensuring the
filter assembly seal is
located fully and neatly.
Changing/cleaning
the motor
protection filter
The motor protection filter
is accessible once the dust
compartment has been
removed first.

Remove the filter from the
filter grille M and clean it
(see 'Filters' for more
information).

Place the filter back into
the filter grille and re-attach
the dust canister.
Changing/cleaning
the exhaust filter
The exhaust filter is located
behind the exhaust filter
cover ‰. To remove, unclip
the cover and remove the
filter assembly N.
Release the filter cover ‰

by pressing down on the
push button.

Remove the filter cover by
pulling the tab.

Clean the filter (see 'Filters'
for more information).

Place the filter back into
position and replace the
cover.

SAFETY CUT-OUT

If the cleaner overheats, a
motor protection thermostat
will automatically switch the
motor off. If this happens,
switch the cleaner off,
unplug from the power
supply and leave the cleaner
to cool for at least 60
minutes. Check the airways
for blockages, empty the
dust canister and clean the
filters before restarting.

Cleaning and
maintenance
Unplug from the mains
supply before cleaning. The
vacuum cleaner, especially
the dust compartment and
all accessories, can be
cleaned using a damp cloth
or a non-abrasive domestic
cleaner and wiped dry.
To keep the underside of
the combination floor
nozzle clean, vacuum it at
regular intervals using the
crevice tool.
