Switching off

Switch off the appliance.
Remove the plug from the mains
supply and rewind the power
cable using the cable rewind
switch fl.
WARNING: When using the
cable rewind, always hold the
plug as the cable will rewind
quickly.
STORAGE
Tube park

The vacuum cleaner can be
stored in an upright position.
Rotate the floor nozzle until the
lug on the neck can be fitted
into the tube park slot on the
base of the appliance ·.
DUSTBAG
Changing the
dustbag
If suction power is reduced or if
the 'dust bag full' indicator ‹ is
permanently fully red, the dust
bag needs emptying and
cleaning. Also check whether
the suction hose, tube or nozzle
are blocked.
To access the dust bag, press
the dust compartment release
lever „ to open the cover I.

Pull out the dust bag holder and
dust bag in an upright direction

Pull the bag sideways out of the
holder K.

Hold the dust bag over a
dustbin and slide the clip from
the bottom of the bag carefully
into the dustbin.

When emptied, it is
recommended that the dust bag
is turned inside out and brushed
clean before replacing the slider
onto the bottom of the bag and
refitting the bag into the
machine.

Insert the bag into the dust bag
holder.

Replace the dust bag holder
and close the cover.
IMPORTANT: The dust bag
compartment cover can only be
closed once a dust bag has
been correctly fitted.
Washing the
permanent dustbag
We recommend the dustbag is
washed regularly to maintain
performance.

Empty the dust bag as
described above.

Wash the bag in warm water (no
detergent) and allow to air dry.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure the bag is thoroughly dry
before replacing into the
machine.
A spare bag is provided. This
allows the product to be used
whilst the bag is washed.
FILTERS
Changing/cleaning
the motor protection
filter
The motor protection filter  is
accessible from the dust
compartment only when the
dust bag has been removed
first.
IMPORTANT: Never use the
appliance without the motor
protection filter installed,
otherwise damage to the motor
may occur which would not be
covered by the guarantee.

Slide the filter upwards to
remove L.

Open the flap on the filter
holder.
