¨ Safety instructions
Measure the CO value before and after any work on gas appliances, to
prevent any health hazards and to ensure perfect system condition.
Record the flue gas values in the
service report.

Checking ionisation current

¨ Safety instructions
Switch OFF the system ON/OFF switch on the control unit before connecting
the test equipment.

1. For testing, insert test lead no. 1
into Testomatik Gas and secure.
2. Pull ionisation test lead A off
ionisation electrode B and
connect to the Testomatik plug.
3. Connect additional ionisation test
cable C to ionisation
electrode B and the Testomatik
socket.
4. Start up the boiler.
The ionisation current must be at
least 1.5 mA when operating the
ignition burner and at least 5 mA
when operating the main burner.
5. Record the actual value in the
service report.
