Cause
■ Insufficient insolation
■ Faulty immersion heater
■ Vacuum tube collector dirty or shaded
■ Faulty vacuum tubes
■ Faulty thermal insulation on the con-
necting lines
■ Not enough heat transfer medium in the
solar thermal system

Leak in the solar thermal system

Cause
Leaks in the connections or on the DHW
cylinder

Water is constantly escaping from the safety valve

Overpressure in the pipework
Button B on the plug pops up (see page 13 13)

Faulty equipotential bonding

Faulty temperature sensor
Remedy
■ Switch ON the immersion heater.
■ Clean the vacuum tube collector.
■ Have your contractor replace the faulty
vacuum tubes or thermal insulation and
top up the heat transfer medium.
Remedy
Remove the plug with integral residual
current device from the socket. Have the
leak repaired by your contractor.
