Installation Procedure The SSIM-H2-02 is packaged with the software for both the module itself and the SmartStack STS16-20RM Token Ring Switch. The switch is also supplied with both software images. To ensure compatibility between the module and the switch, the latest of the two software revisions should be installed. -

6. Re-apply power to the switch. Software Installation Before you can use your SSIM-H2-02, you have to install the module software image. The software image can be downloaded to the module via TFTP or via a serial line. Search the disks supplied with the module for a file named FEyyzz.BIN. -
