Assembly
WARNING:
This lawn mower is shipped without
gasoline or oil in the engine. Fill up with gasoline
and oil as instructed in the Engine Operator's
Manual BEFORE operating your mower.
Chute Deflector
NOTE: Use hardware shown in Figure 3-1 from the
hardware pack to attach the chute deflector.

1. Align the holes on the chute deflector with the
corresponding holes on the deck surface.
2. Insert 1.00" carriage screws up through the underside of
the deck and through the chute deflector. See Figure 3-2.

3. Secure each screw with a flat washer and flange lock nut
(7/16-in. socket wrench).
