Position of jack support points

ARNING Risk of injury from incorrect
positioning of the jack
If you do not position the jack correctly at the
appropriate jacking point of the vehicle, the
jack could tip with the vehicle raised.
Only position the jack at the appropriate
#
jacking point of the vehicle. The base of
the jack must be positioned vertically
under the jacking point of the vehicle.
* N N O O TE TE Vehicle damage from the jack
If you do not position the jack correctly at the
appropriate jack support point of the vehicle,
the jack could tip over with the vehicle raised.
The jack is designed exclusively for jack-

ing up the vehicle at the jack support
points.
Take the ratchet out of the tire-change tool kit
#
and place it on the hexagon nut of the jack so
that the letters "AUF" are visible.
Position support 2 of jack 4 on jack sup-

port point 1.

If there is a total loss of pressure in a tire, it
may be possible that the jack cannot be posi-
tioned at jack support point 1. In this case,
unload the vehicle.
