When the easy entry and exit feature is active, the
driver's seat will move backwards and the back-
rest will be moved to a steeper position when:
You switch the ignition o when the driver's
R
door is open
You open the driver's door when the ignition is
R
switched o

The driver's seat will then move backwards
only if it is not already at the rear of the seat
adjustment range.
The seat backrest will then move forwards
only if it is not already at the front of the back-
rest adjustment range.
The driver's seat will move back to the last drive
position when:
You switch the ignition on with the driver's
R
door closed.
You close the driver's door when the ignition is
R
switched on
The last drive position will be saved when:
You switch the ignition o .
R
You call up the seat settings via the memory
R
function.
You save the seat settings via the memory
R
function.

If you use the memory function on the driver's
side while driving, you could lose control of
the vehicle as a result of the adjustments
being made.
Seats and stowing
Only use the memory function on the

driver's side when the vehicle is station-
ary.

ARNING Risk of entrapment when
adjusting the seat with the memory func-
tion
When the memory function adjusts the seat,
you and other vehicle occupants – particularly
children – could become trapped.
During the adjustment process of the
#
memory function, make sure that no one
has any body parts in the sweep of the
seat.
If someone becomes trapped, press a
#
preset position button or seat adjust-
ment switch immediately.

ARNING Risk of entrapment if the mem-
ory function is activated by children
Children could become trapped if they acti-
vate the memory function, particularly when
unattended.
