Connecting an HDMI device in zone

Connecting an HDMI device in zone to the unit
Connect an HDMI device (such as a TV) to play back videos/audio in zone. With an HDMI cable, HDMI OUT 3
(ZONE OUT) jack on the unit is connected to it.
Videos/audio interruptions may happen in another zone when any of the following operations is performed.

Turning on/off a TV connected to the unit via HDMI or switching the TV input
(
Turning on/off a zone or selecting its input source
(
Changing the sound mode or audio settings
(
NOTE
Set to enables/disable audio output to the HDMI OUT 3 (ZONE OUT) jack in "HDMI Audio Output" in the "Setup" menu.
(
We recommend that you disable HDMI Control on the playback devices connected to the unit.
(
The "Setup" menu and "Option" menu cannot be used with zones.
(
The browse screen and playback screen are possible when "NET", "USB" or "Bluetooth" is selected for the input source in zone.

When the zone switch on the remote control is set to Zone2, you can turn on/off the HDMI OUT 3 (ZONE OUT) jack output by

pressing HDMI OUT on the remote control.
