NTENNA MYTHS
Initially, if you use an analog antenna now, often there is no need to buy a new antenna. However, if the current antenna or it's cabling is in poor
condition which results in unsatisfactorily reception, you could improve this with a new antenna suitable for digital terrestrial reception.
You can receive excellent digital TV and Radio:
if the service provider delivers enough signal (level and quality) to your area;
If the indoor or outdoor antenna is healthy (antenna is clean, in good condition and correctly aimed);
if the connection between the antenna and TV set is healthy (good quality cable, 75 ohm, no sharp bends or kinks, metal connectors);
You can, in certain situations, improve the digital TV and Radio reception:
if you use an outdoor antenna, which is not obstructed by the metalwork that is used in the building construction,
if you use an active antenna for situations where you have a long cable between the antenna and the receiver.
