Bluetooth MIDI

The Bluetooth MIDI setting is used to enable/disable the CN39 digital piano's Bluetooth MIDI function. When
enabled, the CN39 digital piano can be connected to smart phones, tablets, and other smart devices to facilitate
wireless MIDI communication, allowing a wide range of music-related apps to be enjoyed using the instrument.
* This setting will be stored automatically, and recalled every time the instrument is turned on.

1. Selecting the Bluetooth MIDI setting
After entering the Bluetooth Settings menu (page 127):
Press the  or  buttons to select the Bluetooth MIDI setting.
2. Changing the Bluetooth MIDI setting
Press the  or  buttons to turn the Bluetooth MIDI setting on
or off.
* To reset the Bluetooth MIDI setting to the default setting, press the
 and  buttons simultaneously.
* The Bluetooth MIDI setting will be stored automatically, and recalled
every time the instrument is turned on.
3. Exiting the Bluetooth MIDI setting
Press the
FUNCTION button (BACK) to exit the Bluetooth MIDI
setting and return to the Function Menus screen.
 Connecting the CN39 digital piano to a smart device using Bluetooth MIDI
After enabling the Bluetooth MIDI function of the CN39 digital piano, enable Bluetooth communications on the smart device, then
open the desired MIDI app. After a few seconds 'CN39' should appear in the app's device list. Tap the 'CN39' entry to connect the
instrument to the smart device. It should now be possible for MIDI apps to communicate wirelessly with the CN39 digital piano.
* When the CN39 digital piano is connected to a smart device via Bluetooth MIDI, the USB MIDI and MIDI IN/OUT connectors will be disabled.
* Please check for Bluetooth MIDI compatibility with the smart device manufacturer and app developer.
