Get photos from a digital camera or card reader

Connect your camera or card reader to the computer (see the documentation for the device, if necessary).
Do one of the following:

(Windows) Click Download Images - Use Adobe Bridge CS4 in the Autoplay window, or choose File > Get Photos
From Camera.
(Mac OS) In Adobe Bridge, choose File > Get Photos From Camera.
(Mac OS) You can configure Adobe Bridge to automatically open Photo Downloader when a camera is connected to
the computer. Choose Adobe Bridge CS4 > Preferences. In the Behavior area of the General panel, select When A
Camera Is Connected, Launch Adobe Photo Downloader. Then, click OK.
In the Adobe Bridge CS4 Photo Downloader window, choose the name of the camera or card reader from the Get

Photos From menu.
If you click Advanced Dialog, thumbnail images of every photo on your camera's memory card appear.

To remove a photo from the import batch, click Advanced Dialog, and click the box below the photo thumbnail to
deselect it.
To change the default folder location, click the Browse button (Windows) or the Choose button (Mac OS) next to

Location, and specify a new location.
To store the photos in their own folder, select Create Subfolder(s), and then select one of the following:

Today's Date creates a subfolder named with the current date.
Shot Date creates a subfolder named with the date and time you shot the photo.
