Installing a Pentium III Processor
Follow these steps to install a Pentium III processor into the socket on the
processor board.
1.
Press the processor module down until the edge connector snugly fits into the
socket.

The system settings are configured at the
factory for the correct processor frequency/
Memory DIMM combination, and require
Registered PC-100 SDRAM DIMMs. Your
system will not work properly if you use non-
certified DIMMs.
The edge connector of the Pentium module is
slotted so that it only fits in one direction.
Make sure the module groove matches the
one on the processor socket
.
