With proper use and maintenance the mower should provide years of dependable service. For Non-Agricultural use, OSHA, ASABE, SAE and ANSI standards require the use of Chain Guards, Deflectors, or Solid Skirts at all times.

The mower is equipped with protective deflectors to prevent objects being thrown from the mower by the blades, however, no shielding is 100% effective. All shields, guards, and deflectors equipped on the mower must be maintained in good operational condition.
