Table Travel
X-Axis Handwheels
The mill/drill table can be moved in the longitudi-
nal (X-axis) and cross (Y-axis) directions.
Longitudinal Feed
The X-axis is moved by the handwheels shown
in Figure 30 at the end of the table. These
handwheels will move the table in both directions
Y-Axis Handwheel
side-to-side. One complete revolution of either
handwheel moves the longitudinal feed 0.100".

There is also a scale on the front of the table for
use when a tight tolerance is not required. The
longitudinal feed can be locked in position by
table locks located on the front of the table (see
X-Axis Table Lock Levers
Figure 31).
X-Axis Scale
Cross Feed
The Y-axis shown in Figure 30, is moved with the
handwheel on the front of the table base. One
complete revolution of the handwheel moves the
cross slide 0.100". The cross feed can be locked
into position by a table lock lever located on the
right side of the cross slide underneath the table
(see Figure 31).
