Programmable Automatic Door
Unlock
If you have a sedan with a manual transaxle, the
doors will automatically unlock when the ignition
is turned off.
If you have a vehicle with an automatic transaxle,
it was programmed at the factory to unlock
when the shift lever is moved to PARK (P).
You can change the settings of the programmable
automatic door unlock feature through the Driver
Information Center (DIC). See DIC Vehicle
Personalization on page 216.

Rear Door Security Locks

Your vehicle may have rear door security locks.
These prevent passengers from opening the
rear doors from the inside.
