Lower Anchorages and Top Tethers for
Children (LATCH System)
Your vehicle has the LATCH system. You'll find
anchors (A) in the clearance between the seat cushion
and seatback of both outside rear seats. On vehicles with
-
a built in child restraint system, the anchorages are
installed in the left rear seat only.
Each seating position with the LATCH system will have
a label sewn to the seatback with the letters "LATCH"
on it. To assist you in locating the anchors for this child
restraint system, place your hand in a palm
and reach up between the seat cushion and the seatback.
Use the vertical seam lines sewn into the seatback as a
guide for locating the anchors.
In order to use the system, you need either a
forward
points (B) at its base and a top tether anchor (C), or a

rear facing child restraint that has attaching points (B),
as shown here.
