Change Oil Soon Light
If the CHG OIL SOON light comes on and stays on
after you start the engine, have the oil changed.
For additional information, see "Engine Oil, When to
Change" in the Index. To reset the Oil Life Monitor, see
"Engine Oil Life Monitor" in the Index.

The CHG OIL SOON light
should come on as a bulb
check when you start the
engine. If the light doesn't
come on, have it serviced.

Security Light

It will also come on and stay on if your key is too dirty

or wet for the PASS Key
resistor pellet.
If the resistor pellet is damaged or missing, the light
will flash.
If you're driving and the light comes on and remains on,

your PASS Key II system is not working properly. Your
vehicle is not protected by PASS
see your dealer.

START and stay on until the
