T1450 (TM239): Engineering Guide
ENG 5: SPEED SENSOR MODE
The PWM value is displayed in the middle window. The Elevation A/D is displayed in the left window. The Dot
Matrix displays a flashing row of lights between 2 constant rows of lights. As the
flashing row will flash quicker, indicating a faster PWM.
ENG 6: EXIT ENGINEERING
ERROR MESSAGES
Three types of errors can occur; speed, elevation, and EEPROM software error. All three use the same display to indicate
the error, with the error number appearing in the main window. An elevation error shuts down the treadmill and disables
normal operation. A speed sensor error also shuts down the treadmill. The user, however, can enter engineering mode
after an error announcement.

SAFETY SWITCH
If the safety magnet disconnects from the console, the treadmill shuts down if in run mode. The treadmill displays " " - - - - - - - - " " in
the main window. This is a safety precaution to warn the user that power is still being applied to the board. This safety
switch condition occurs in any mode, including engineering modes.
When the magnet reconnects to the console, the board resets. Any activity or run time information prior to the reconnection
will be lost.
