USING BY HAND
1. Ensure that your mixer is unplugged from the supply socket and
the on/off switch is set to 0 (off). Press the mixer head lock release
button and raise the mixer stand head until it clicks (fig. H).
2. Press and hold the hand mixer release button and lift the hand
mixer from the stand (fig. I).
3. Plug your mixer into the mains supply socket.
4. Place the beater/dough hooks into the ingredients to be mixed.
Always support the bowl while mixing ingredients (fig. J).
5. Turn the on/off switch to the I (on) position then use the + button to
select the required speed setting. Adjust the speed as required with
the + and – buttons (fig. G).
6. When you have finished mixing the ingredients, set the speed to 0
using the – button then move the on/off switch to 0 (fig. K). Scrape
the beaters/dough hooks around the bowl to remove any remaining
ingredients.

USING THE TIMER

When you switch your mixer on, the lower part of the display will show
0:00. When you select a speed, the timer will start to count up in 1
second intervals. You can use this feature to time mixing operations.
When you switch off your mixer or set the speed to 0, the timer will reset
to 0:00.

CARE AND CLEANING

To make cleaning easier, clean your hand mixer and the beaters/dough
hooks as soon as you have finished using them.
1. Set the on/off switch to 0 (off) and unplug it from the mains supply
socket.
2. Eject the beaters/dough hooks from your hand mixer by pressing
the eject button (fig. L).
3. Wash the beaters/dough hooks in warm soapy water. Alternatively,
wash them in a dishwasher.
4. Rinse and dry the beaters/dough hooks before storing or using
them again.
5. Using a dampened cloth, wipe the body of your hand mixer.
6. Clean the bowl in warm soapy water if required. Alternatively, wash
it in a dishwasher.
STORING
Store your hand mixer in a clean, dry place, out of the reach of children,
ensuring that all the parts are dismantled.
GUARANTEE
Please keep your receipt as this will be required for any claims under
this guarantee.
This appliance is guaranteed for 2 years after your purchase as
described in this document.
During this guaranteed period, if in the unlikely event the appliance no
longer functions due to a design or manufacturing fault, please take it
back to the place of purchase, with your till receipt and a copy of this
guarantee.
The rights and benefits under this guarantee are additional to your
statutory rights, which are not affected by this guarantee. Only Jarden
Consumer Solutions (Europe) Limited ("JCS (Europe)") has the right to
change these terms.
JCS (Europe) undertakes within the guarantee period to repair or
replace the appliance, or any part of appliance found to be not working
properly free of charge provided that:
you promptly notify the place of purchase or JCS
(Europe) of the problem; and
the appliance has not been altered in any way
or subjected to damage, misuse, abuse, repair
or alteration by a person other than a person
authorised by JCS (Europe).
Faults that occur through, improper use, damage, abuse, use with
incorrect voltage, acts of nature, events beyond the control of JCS
(Europe), repair or alteration by a person other than a person authorised
by JCS (Europe) or failure to follow instructions for use are not covered
by this guarantee. Additionally, normal wear and tear, including, but not
limited to, minor discoloration and scratches are not covered by this
guarantee.
The rights under this guarantee shall only apply to the original
purchaser and shall not extend to commercial or communal use.
If your appliance includes a country-specific guarantee or warranty
insert please refer to the terms and conditions of such guarantee or
warranty in place of this guarantee or contact your local authorized
dealer for more information.
